The Ingredient Report exists because supplement shopping is a fog of superlatives. Every jar is "clinically studied," every powder is "third-party tested," every brand is "the most transparent." The label, the price math and the regulatory record usually tell a more useful story — so that’s what we report.

What we do

We score supplements with a published 100-point methodology covering formula quality, label transparency, testing transparency, value, product experience and brand experience. We compare the products people actually cross-shop, we do the cost-per-serving arithmetic brands hope you won’t, and we keep a dated record of prices, formulas and policy changes. Every material fact carries the date we checked it, and every report lists its sources.

Who we are

The Ingredient Report is written and maintained by The Ingredient Report editorial team and published by The Ingredient Report LLC. We’re building this publication in the open: our methodology, our commercial relationships and our corrections all live on public pages you can check.

How we make money — the whole answer

Ownership disclosure: The Ingredient Report and Earth Energy Supplements share common ownership. Earth Energy products are evaluated using the same published methodology applied to other products. This relationship may be relevant when considering our conclusions, and we encourage readers to review the complete scorecard and supporting information.

Beyond that: some links on this site may earn us a commission at no cost to you (always disclosed on the page), and we may run advertising in the future. What we will not do is sell a score, rank a product for a payout, or let any commercial relationship touch the rubric. Links to products we have no relationship with are plain Google searches — we earn nothing from them, and we tell you so in the fine print beside each one. Full details: how we make money.

What we ask of you

Don’t trust us — check us. Every score links to its methodology, every fact shows its date, every source is named, and every page invites corrections. If we got something wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it on the record.
