Cheap tub, expensive sodium
$1.00 a serving is fine on its face. But Just Ingredients delivers only 100 mg of sodium — a tenth of LMNT’s dose, deliberately, with the ratio tilted 3:1 toward potassium — so per 100 mg of sodium it’s $1.00, versus 9–18¢ for Earth Energy or 13–15¢ for LMNT. That makes it a real-food daily mineral drink, not sweat replacement, and the most expensive sodium in the comparison. If sodium is what you’re actually buying, the alternatives page shows cheaper routes; if it’s the clean label, that’s a fair reason to pay it.

Why is it expensive per milligram of sodium?
Because its sodium dose is deliberately light — 100 mg, a tenth of LMNT’s, with the ratio tilted toward potassium. The $1.00 serving buys a clean real-food formula and a small amount of sodium, so per milligram of sodium it’s the priciest option.
Is it worth it?
If you want a clean, real-food, low-sodium daily mineral drink and already get plenty of salt from food, the price is fair for what it is. If you want actual sweat replacement, you’re paying a premium for sodium you could get far cheaper elsewhere.
